The Broken Arrow Main Street Merchants Association (BAMMA) started in 1996 when a group of businesses came together to improve the vitality of downtown, enhance a sense of community, and promote the downtown area. Since then, BAMMA has had many accomplishments, including:
- Designing and selling historical and centennial afghans
- Providing holiday lights to all members for their store fronts
- Purchasing three sets of banners for light posts on Main Street
- Making donations to the Broken Arrow Historical Society building fund
- Working with the Vision 2025 committee to make improvements in Downtown Broken Arrow
